Sailors arrived to the Merrill Family Sailing Center to a 7-8mph Southerly breeze and racing got underway at 9:40am. The breeze died down some after the first race to almost nothing and A Division had short wind delay on shore until they were sent out for race 2A. Racing was steady until the finish of 2B when once again the breeze died off. The southerly teased us all day long which made race management difficult at times. Luckily we finished the day with the southerly cooperating and were able to complete 6A and 4B races as the sun set behind the West side of Lake Cayuga. All races were either W4 or W3.
Thank you to our race management team led by PRO Trevor Moore and Zach Goldman, they did a fantastic job getting the maximum number of races in for the day. Also the Cornell team members who spent their day on the water and on shore assisting the event.
Thank you to the judges led by Austin Kana alongside Patrick Clancy, Jay Mills, and Jamie Landi.
1 protest was filed resulting in a DSQ for Coast Guard in race 6A. No breakdowns or redress requests.
Sailors arrived Sunday to the Southerly breeze once again at around 12-15mph. We started today with race 5B and racing got underway at 9:20am. The breeze shut off a touch as the day went on, but racing never stopped. Rotations went smoothly and in total 11 races in each division were held.
Big thank you once again to the race management crew led by PRO Trevor Moore, Zach Goldman, and the Cornell Sailing team members.
Thank you as well to the judges for their hard work on the water throughout the weekend. Two protests were filed, one resulting in an RAF for Vermont and a DSQ for Cornell.
Congratulations to Dartmouth for winning the 2013 Women's Atlantic Coast Championship

The following chart shows the relative rank of the teams as of the race indicated. Note that the races are ordered by number, then division, which may not represent the order in which the races were actually sailed.
The first place team as of a given race will always be at the top of the chart. The spacing from one team to the next shows relative gains/losses made from one race to the next. You may hover over the data points to display the total score as of that race.
