Clear sunny skies greeted the Regis Bowl participants at Boston University this morning. Racing was delayed due to lack of wind. The warning signal for race 1A was finally given at exactly 12 PM. Six races were sailing in each division. The wind was from the East-Southeast all day long. The early races were light, about 4 ??" 6 knots. The breeze built slowly throughout the day, and the final race was held in about 10 knows of wind.
Three protests were held resulting in two DSQ’s. Judge for the day was Joe Ballow (BU ’13).
Early morning fog lifted about the time sailors arrived for this morning's sailing. Racing was again delayed due to lack of wind. Four more races were eventually sailed in each division. Winds were from the East at 5 to 8 MPH.
BU alum Kerry Sullivan served as today's judge. Two protests were heard resulting in one DSQ. Congratulations to the Yale Bulldogs for their commanding performance at the Regis Bowl.

The following chart shows the relative rank of the teams as of the race indicated. Note that the races are ordered by number, then division, which may not represent the order in which the races were actually sailed.
The first place team as of a given race will always be at the top of the chart. The spacing from one team to the next shows relative gains/losses made from one race to the next. You may hover over the data points to display the total score as of that race.
