It was a difficult day on the Delaware River today. From the time we arrived on site until the end of the day, no substantial breeze ever filled in. The RC attempted one race, which was abandoned at the first mark due to the boats not being able to get downwind in the current. A big thanks to the Quakers who did their best to run races today, as well as Villanova who volunteered to be the mark boat. We hope an early start tomorrow will help get more races in.
Much better conditions today for the Philly Fleet Race. A light to moderate easterly filled early and continued throughout the day. The strong current challenged the fleet and made for a few particularly long and difficult downwind legs. When all was said and done, six races were completed in each division. Many thanks once again to the sailors of Penn for putting on the regatta and the Villanova team for moving marks and taking finishes.
Congratulations to the Drexel Dragons, who finished the day in first place by 14 points.

The following chart shows the relative rank of the teams as of the race indicated. Note that the races are ordered by number, then division, which may not represent the order in which the races were actually sailed.
The first place team as of a given race will always be at the top of the chart. The spacing from one team to the next shows relative gains/losses made from one race to the next. You may hover over the data points to display the total score as of that race.
