Today was a good challenge for all competitors. The westerly wind was about 15 kts gusting into the 20's. Competitors found their skills tested on the downwind legs of the course. 3 Fleets alternated racing in a fleet of FJ's and a fleet of Fireflies. Courses run were a Inner/Outer Trapezoid with each fleet on its own side of the course. C division started and was able to get off 12 races. B and A division completed a total of 10 races.
Many protests were filed today, resulting in several boats given redress and others being disqualified. Northeastern would like to recognize and thank coach Stan Schrier of BU, coach Alden Reed of BC, and Coach Colin Merrick for their assistance in hearing the large amount of protests filed.
A thank you to the competitors for staying later into the afternoon to finish a few more races. Call time tomorrow is 9:30 with first race starting at 9:45
Congratulations to Coast Guard for winning the 75th Annual Oberg Trophy!
Sunday was a beautiful day for sailing. A steady Charles breeze from the west moved to the NW by the end of day. Wind was around 12kts with gusts into the teens. A and B division got off 8 races a piece and C division got off 6 to finish the rotation.
Today a large number of protests were filed. Several resulted in Disqualifications and Redress. Some boats that received a breakdown redress did not get an improvement in their overall score so it may not show in the summary.
Northeastern would like to thank all of the competitors for coming to regatta. A special thanks goes out to all of the coaches who heard protests over the two days. Also a thank you to Wally the Dockmaster at MIT for assisting with multiple breakdowns and other issues throughout the weekend. Thank you to Coach Jonathan Farrar for doing OC, Colin Henderson and Scott Goodrich for saftey boat, Peter Christensen and Lukas Scott for taking down scores. Thank you to Zach Shapiro for running Techscore and managing the dock. Thank you to all of the Northeastern sailors who came to help and to MIT for letting us use their facilities to host this event.

The following chart shows the relative rank of the teams as of the race indicated. Note that the races are ordered by number, then division, which may not represent the order in which the races were actually sailed.
The first place team as of a given race will always be at the top of the chart. The spacing from one team to the next shows relative gains/losses made from one race to the next. You may hover over the data points to display the total score as of that race.
