Sailors arrived at Sail Sand Point on Lake Washington to some Gale force conditions. Around 10:00am when first start was scheduled, Race Committee tracked sustained winds of 20 knots with gusts up to 40 knots. Racing was postponed on shore until 1:00pm when a course was set in moderate to windy conditions oscillating from a Southerly to a Northerly to an Easterly and finally back to a Southerly breeze. 4 races were sailed in A fleet and 2 races in B.
Races began at 10:00am sharp on Sunday in a oscillating 7-11 knot breeze from the south. The breeze sustained throughout the early part of the day allowing race committee to get 4 more races in B fleet off and 2 more in A. The wind died from the South around 1:30pm and Race committee called it a regatta around 2:45pm. A total of 6 races were scored in both A fleet and B fleet.
