NE Sloop Champs, Larry White Trophy

The Salve Regina University Seahawks welcomed NEISA sailors to Newport, Rhode Island for the 2013 New England Sloop Championship, Larry White Trophy. Match Racing took take place on Narragansett Bay between Rose Island and Goat Island. Under blustery conditions with wind ranging from 10 to 18 knots from the North, a full round-robin was completed!

For Sunday's match racing, a modified Quater-Finals will be sailed between numbers 3-6 followed by a standard Semi-finals and Finals.

Today started out as a beautiful day with breeze ranging from 8-12 knots from the Northeast. After a modified quarter final was completed Yale, BC, Brown, and RWU competed in the Semi-finals. After very exciting racing, BC and Yale moved on to the finals with Brown and RWU sailing in the petit finals. Congratulations goes out to Yale and BC for qualifying for the ICSA Match Racing Nationals!
