Saturday was a beautiful day at first colony. Winds from 8-15 knts and a high of about 70 degrees. The CNU Captains ended the day with a strong lead over the WM Tribe. RC was artfully lead by William and Mary Saling's Vice Commodore Adam Siegel. We were able to run 14 races on Saturday alone. Only one protest was filed between WM and UMBC.
Blessed with another gorgeous day at First Colony Beach, the regatta ended a full rotation at about noon on Sunday. Conditions were a bit lighter, around 5-7 knots, and the overall temperature was the same. The CNU Captains won the Colony Cup and are excited to get their name engraved on our beloved trophy. Saturday's protest was discussed in a hearing with John Griffin and Skip Kovacs and filed in favor of William & Mary, disqualifying UMBC from race 7a. Adam Siegel ran race committee for our last 6 races without a hitch.
