The Red Sox parade was the highlight of the day as many competitors rocked their boats over to the Esplanade to catch a glimpse of the victors in their duck boats. A brief amount of wind filled at 3 with one A Division race completed. The B Division race went light after the start and was abandoned. Cold temps and a strong northerly are on tap tomorrow. Fleet switch at lunch time. Many thanks to Martin Frasier and Bob Coyle for waiting all day as our judges.

Miserable cold rain started the day with a squirrelly northerly breeze at 3-10 knots bringing extra fickle conditions even for the Charles River. Sailors swapped types of boats at lunchtime today. The Big Green Team pulled off an upset by reeling in the Jumbos to capture the crown. The top 7 overall teams qualified for the Atlantic Coast Championship in two weeks in Charleston. Remaining teams will be competing at the AC Tournament at Connecticut College.
Many MIT Sailing Team volunteers assisted with scoring and RC duty- Jeremy Kalas, Chris Ford, Jorrelyn LeGarrec, Megan McKnelty, Bruno Faviero, Joe Paggi, Kayla Ngan, Paige Omura. Dock duty was handled by Wally Corwin and Gerard Welch. Many thanks to our judges hearing one protest- John Vandemoer, Matt Knowles, and Charlotte Lipschitz. No boat breakdowns occurred during the event.

The following chart shows the relative rank of the teams as of the race indicated. Note that the races are ordered by number, then division, which may not represent the order in which the races were actually sailed.
The first place team as of a given race will always be at the top of the chart. The spacing from one team to the next shows relative gains/losses made from one race to the next. You may hover over the data points to display the total score as of that race.
