USF St. Petersburg hosted 9 teams at the SAISA SP-3 event. With a 20 boat fleet, A and B divisions could sail together, making the starts much more interesting. Racing started at 10am, in an ENE breeze at about 6-7 knots.
With expectations that it would die rapidly, W-4 courses were run, about 12 minutes in length, but the wind was fairly steady, gradually shifting to NNE and dying around 1:30 pm.
With 7 races completed, racing was called for the day, as the seabreeze was not expected to fill until much later.
Thanks to competitors for their participation and to USF women's team members for running the event.
