The USF women's sailing team conducted a morning mini-clinic, followed by the first annual SAISA South Women's Regatta. It is our desire to make this an annual event, hopefully with a perpetual trophy as tribute to the Women's teams from SAISA South!
Conditions were ideal, with a 6 knot easterly, just enough breeze to sail, but not too much for the less experienced teams. Many, many thanks to the teams who participated - USF, Eckerd, University of Florida, and Rollins, finishing in that order.
Special thanks to the USF Women's team, and also to Ben Mohney, AJ Degen, and Tom Hamby for assisting with this event, and to Alex Boudreau, Eckerd College assistant coach.
