Sailors enjoyed a beautiful day of sailing today with a southerly breeze which built from 8-10 knots to 12-17 knots. Each division was able to complete 8 races and are eager for more racing tomorrow. Currently, ODU Monarchs are leading the regatta by 22 points.
Today all sailors enjoyed a much cooler day with a 10-15 knot north west breeze, which shifted right and died as the day continued. The race committee started the morning with a couple of long gold cups for each division before switching back to W-4s. Each division completed four races today for a total of twelve races. The Old Dominion Monarchs maintained their lead and win the Riley Cup.
