Saturday's Report Time: 9:30 AM
Saturday's Skippers Meeting: 9:45 AM
NEISA Sailors gathered at Salve Regina University's new sailing center at 9:30 AM for the first annual Sister Esther Open. Temperatures were around 50 degrees in the morning with clouds that cleared in the afternoon leaving for good racing conditions. Breeze started out as 10-12 knots with puffs over 15 knots coming from the Newport Pell Bridge in a northeast direction. 6 races were sailed in each division with no protests. With daylight savings time ending Saturday night, Sunday's racing will start promptly at 10:00 AM to ensure enough races get off before it starts to get dark. No protests and no breakdowns were filed. A big thanks goes out to our Salve alumni, Peter Pellegrini '12 and Sarah Muzyka '12, for helping out with the marks and also all of the Seahawks who helped out with dock rotations and the Saturday cookout!
Note: Daylight savings Time ends, turn clocks back one hour!
