Eleven teams raced in excellent conditions off of Rhode Island Yacht Club, a total of eight races in both A and B divisions. Sailors faced light northerly breeze ranging from 4-8 kts before dying around lunch time. The breeze later switched in the late afternoon to 8-10 kts from the east. One team filed for redress which was denied and no protests were filed. Thank you to Providence College race committee Kevin Cassidy, Colleen Cassidy, and Abbey Denham for running a smooth first day. A special thanks to Tristan Janowicz who updated techscore regularly throughout the day and Brad Churchill doing mark set.
