Mrs. Hurst Bowl

Summary

Saturday, September 15:

Truly champagne conditions on Mascoma Lake greeted the Mrs. Hurst competitors today. The breeze built through the first few sets to eventually be gusting into the low 20s in knots. The breeze tapered slightly towards the end of the day as the final set was completed. The Yale Bulldogs were dominant and hold a solid lead heading into day two. Big thanks to Dartmouth alums Ed Jude Glackin '11 and Bernie Roesler '12 for logging over eight straight hours on their beloved Mascoma today.

Sunday, September 16:

The Mrs. Hurst Bowl was presented with terrific sailing conditions again on Sunday, with a NW wind ranging from 6-12 knots. Though many were caught off guard by the cold morning temps, the sun warmed the shoreline up quickly and made for a great day. Four races were sailed in each division on Sunday, bringing the total to 12 in each for the regatta. Many thanks again to Ed Jude Glackin and Bernie Roesler for volunteering so much time to their former team this weekend. We really appreciate it.

The following chart shows the relative rank of the teams as of the race indicated. Note that the races are ordered by number, then division, which may not represent the order in which the races were actually sailed.

The first place team as of a given race will always be at the top of the chart. The spacing from one team to the next shows relative gains/losses made from one race to the next. You may hover over the data points to display the total score as of that race.
