Racing started off in 12 knots of breeze from the South with building seas. The breeze built throughout the day gusting to 18+knots with massive waves. Courses were W/L for the first four race's and gold cup for the last two in each division. There were many capsizes downwind and a few more at the jibe mark and leeward mark due to some extreme waves. There were two breakdowns for broken pintles and redress given. Many thanks to Meredith Killian and Liz Barry for doing jury/mark boat duty and for the Yale sailors for helping out all day.
Sunday dawned with a light Northerly blowing off the beach at 4-7 knots. Two races were completed in each division before the breeze died for the day.
