Today started with a easterly breeze 5-6 knots which quickly went right and built to about 12-14 knots for the first 6 races. After lunch the breezes faded a bit with 5 races sailed. All courses were W4's. There was one breakdown awarded for a broken pintle in race 6. We will see what Hurricane Sandy starts to bring us tomorrow! Many thanks go to George Malcolmson '03 and Meredith Killion '05 for running the races today.
Sunday was raced inside the cove. Courses were W4's and 5's. in all, 16 races were completed. Winds were from the North with big long shifts. The breeze would periodically gust into the low 20's. With Hurricane Sandy on it's way it was decided to sail until lunch so YCYC could get secured and before the 40 knot puffs which were scheduled to hit around 2pm. 1 breakdown was awarded ffor a broken jib halyard shackle. Thanks to all the sailors who helped derig the 420 and especially Tufts for being the first team to step up and offer their help.

The following chart shows the relative rank of the teams as of the race indicated. Note that the races are ordered by number, then division, which may not represent the order in which the races were actually sailed.
The first place team as of a given race will always be at the top of the chart. The spacing from one team to the next shows relative gains/losses made from one race to the next. You may hover over the data points to display the total score as of that race.
