Racing for today was stopped at 4:45 after 20 races in A division and 18 in B. Courses were modified windward/leewards with 4 races sets. Thanks to Harvard for use of their fleet. Thanks to John Tagliamonte for hearing 2 redresses. Fran Charles was the PRO with lots of help from dockmasters Wally Corwin and Patrick Joyce and the rest of the MIT dockstaff.
8 Races are left in each A division and 10 in B division to complete the double round robin.
With a 3pm last race deadline, competitors finished up with only 26 races in each division. A gorgeous thermal effect bolstered a light SE breeze and shifted the direction to the left as it strengthened through the afternoon. Windward, leeward twice around courses were sailed with throughout Sunday. Sue Epstein heard the one protest of the regatta at the end of sailing. Special thanks to MIT sailors Katii Gullick and David Rodriguez for helping out with scoring today.
Jeff Knowles used his trumpet as a substitute for the Ollie box on one of Saturday's races. Check it out here

Congratulations to the Brown Bears team which reeled in Boston College in the 52nd race of the weekend to grasp the overall victory by a three point margin. The Yale Bulldogs were only nine points astern of the Eagles for a solid third place finish. Roger Williams' Haley Powell and Jaye Fahey took A division honors and Yale's Marlena Fauer and Eugenia Custo-Greig won B Division.
The Toni Deutsch '58 Trophy honors a distinguished MIT alumna who was a member of the sailing team which won a couple of national championships. However, Toni also was the first woman to ever receive a varsity letter at MIT for her impressive sailing skills.

The following chart shows the relative rank of the teams as of the race indicated. Note that the races are ordered by number, then division, which may not represent the order in which the races were actually sailed.
The first place team as of a given race will always be at the top of the chart. The spacing from one team to the next shows relative gains/losses made from one race to the next. You may hover over the data points to display the total score as of that race.
