The breeze had a very difficult time getting established today. One race in C and B were completed in the morning followed by a long postponement. Finally, a hint of breeze motivated the RC to get an A division race in to match the other divisions. After chasing a SW, then W, then N, and finally a WNW at 5-7kts.
The Northeastern Sailing Team would like to thank MIT Sailing Master Fran Charles and Coach Matty Cohen for letting us use their facilities and their experienced assistance in the regatta. We also thank Olin Nelson and Colin Henderson for running the finish boat both days. Thank you to Zach Shapiro for running scoring and to the entire Northeastern Team for coming down and helping this regatta go smoothly.
The Jumbos from Tufts University dominated their rival competitors with victories in all 3 divisions to take home the Greater Boston Fall Championship and Oberg Trophy. They will be a force at next weekend's Schell Trophy for the NE Fall Dinghy Championship.
