Underdog Trophy October 30-31, 2010 Boston University by Brandeis
Regatta Highlights:
Saturday: Races were sailed in 15-22 knots. 8 races were sailed in A Division and 6 races in B Division. Courses were W4 with a gate except for the last A race of the day which was windward, leeward, and a long windward to finish. There were a few capsizes, one breakdown reported, and no protests filed.
Sunday: Another windy day on the Charles as the wind was again between 15-20 knots. 3 races were sailed in A Division and 5 in B Division to finish out the regatta. Courses were W4 except for the final race of the day for each division which was a W5. There were again a few capsizes, two breakdowns reported early in the day, and no protests filed.
A big thank you to BU for letting us host this event out of their boathouse and to Mark, Sergey and the rest of the pavilion staff for their help. Good luck to University of Connecticut who earned a spot at ACT.
