It was a muddy, windy day at the RIYC. Sailors struggled with keeping their boats upright, many ended up hurtling in the mud. Regatta was called after a set in each division due to dangerous conditions and small craft advisory warning.
Thanks to all the PC sailors how getting wet, muddy, and overall running a great show. Thanks to Alum Pat Broome '09 for RC and to Brown for use of their FJs. Special thanks to Pete from UConn for jumping in to help sailors right their turtled, stuck-in-the-mud boats.
Regatta is unofficial, but results from the 2 sets we were able to sail are posted below.
