Saturday: Big breeze on the Charles River with A Division starting in Techs through Race 10 and then, racing a set in FJs. B Division did the opposite. SSW breeze 20-30 resulted in swimming, a few breakdowns, and several protests. Courses were vanilla WLW, Harry Anderson, and Vanilla w/jimmies on top WLWLW.
Sunday awakened with a 5-8 knot northerly which was puffy, shifty and streaky. Courses were a banana split with gates top and bottom, two and a half laps as well as the diet version which was only one and a half laps. A plain vanilla and vanilla with jimmies were used on the last races.
Congrats to the Yale Elis for their dramatic come from behind win over the Roger Williams Hawks in the last set. This is their first Schell Trophy victory since the 1976 Bulldog team last dominated on the Charles River. Yale will be joined by Roger Williams, Boston College, Harvard, Vermont, Brown and Tufts representing NEISA at the Atlantic Coast Champs in two weeks.
Judges were John Pratt, Peter Johns, Leo Berendes. RC personnel were Jeff Dusek, Alvar Saenz-Otero, and Fran Charles.
NOTE: "BYE" scores are "REGRESS" scores granted as "average" of other scores. There were no "BYEs" in this regatta.

The following chart shows the relative rank of the teams as of the race indicated. Note that the races are ordered by number, then division, which may not represent the order in which the races were actually sailed.
The first place team as of a given race will always be at the top of the chart. The spacing from one team to the next shows relative gains/losses made from one race to the next. You may hover over the data points to display the total score as of that race.
